"And truly, this (the Qur'an) is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds." [Al Qur'an 26:192]

Initial gaseous mass before creation of Galaxies

Scientists agree that before the galaxies in the universe were formed, celestial matter was initially in the form of gaseous matter. In short huge gaseous matter or cloud was present before the formation of galaxies. To describe celestial matter, the word ‘smoke’ is more appropriate then the word ‘gas’. The following quoted verse from the Holy Qur’an refers to this state of the universe by the word ‘dukhaan’ which means smoke:

Then turned He to the heaven when it was smoke, and said unto it and unto the earth: ‘Come both of you, willingly or unwillingly.’ They said: ‘We come (together) in willing obedience'.
[Al Qur’an 41:11]

Again, this fact is a corollary to the ‘Big Bang’ and was not known to any one until the revelation of the above quoted verse of the Holy Qur’an.

What then could have been the source of this knowledge?
